Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Backend Developer with expertise in Big Data technologies to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with Apache Spark and a solid background in Java and Python programming. This role involves building scalable, high-performance backend services, optimizing data pipelines, and contributing to a robust data infrastructure. Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services for processing large-scale datasets in real-time and batch environments using Apache Spark and other Big Data frameworks.
• Build and optimize data pipelines to support various business needs, ensuring data integrity, quality, and security.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to design scalable, efficient systems for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with various frontend and third-party systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code using Java and Python while following best practices and coding standards.
• Perform data modeling and ensure efficient querying of large datasets.
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of backend systems to handle large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Conduct performance tuning, load balancing, and troubleshoot production issues related to data processing and backend services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Requirements:
• Strong experience in Java and Python programming languages for backend development.
• Hands-on experience in building pipeline in airflow/Kubeflow.
• Hands-on experience with distributed computing, data partitioning, and parallel processing techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and related Big Data services (e.g., Dataproc, BigQuery, Snpwflake).
• Experience in building and optimizing ETL processes for large-scale data sets.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and experience in building scalable services.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
